Our recreation is hurling

Hurling is a very popular sport in Ireland. The hurl (stick) is made out of the Ash tree and the ball is called a sliotar .The aim of the game is to get the sliotar into the opponents goal .There are 15 on a team. The game is very fast and it is very exciting. Find out more at http://www.gaa.ie/

Hurling is played by boys and girls. We will be playing in a competition next week.
