He started his musical career as a very poor man. He worked very hard to earn money only for living (his and his family's). When Dvorák was 37, Johannes Brahms helped him with the first publications of his notes and he became famous very fast. He was very modest and he loved nature. In the year 1892 he was invited to United States, to teach at New York National Academy of Music. In a short time Dvorák became the most popular music composer of that time. He composed nine symphonies, sixteen string quartets, symphonic poems, many orchestral and chorus opuses, songs and violin and piano opuses.
