Christmas recipe from Estonia


250g syrup or honey
100g sugar
50g butter
a little bit salt
2 teaspoon of cinnamon, clove
1 egg
300-500g flour
2 teaspoon baking powder or
1 teaspoon soda and 1 teaspoon citric

Ginger bread

Syrup, sugar and butter heat with mixing to 100 C. Add seasoning, mix well and cool down. Add whisked egg and flour and baking powder. Knead stiff paste. Have a stay in a coolly place. Roll, bake and decorate.
