Puka Secondary School presents Estonia

Estonia is a small country north of Finland. Our other neighbours are Russia in the east, Latvia in the south and Sweden in the west, across the Baltic Sea.
North Estonia is mainly flat, south – hilly. In the south you can find many small lakes and rivers. The lakes are not big, the rivers not very long.
There are no high mountains in Estonia, just hills. The highest point of Estonia is only 317 metres above sea level.

The capital of Estonia is Tallinn that is the biggest town in our country. Tallinn is situated at the sea. It has a big seaport both for passengers and cargo.
Tallinn is a very old town. Many tourists visit Tallinn to see the sights and learn about its history. Nearly 1/3 of the population of Estonia lives there.
