First crush the biscuits in small pieces. Melt the butter in a saucepan and cool it then Add the butter to the biscuits. Make a sugar syrup out of water, sugar, vanilla and rum. Add to it the biscuits. Then add the currants, nuts and the orange jam to the mixture. Wrap the mixture of biscuits in a cellophane giving it a salami shape. Keep it in the refrigerator for a day. It is easy and very tasty. Try it.
